What is Accreditation?
Accreditation for Growth is
the ongoing process wherein we continually work to improve our school during a
specified period of time (seven years) in carefully selected areas. The
Middle States Association (MSA) of Colleges and Schools, based in
Pennsylvania, is our accrediting agency.
Accreditation is
like a school’s report card. ISG Jubail has voluntarily committed to an outside
evaluation of its curriculum, instructional methods, mission and beliefs.
Attainment of re-accreditation is a school’s “seal of approval.” An accredited
school meets specific standards of educational excellence in twelve different
areas and is working to continually improve student learning.
Parents and the
school community at large are an integral part of accreditation. Throughout the
past eighteen months of preparation, we have had students and parents, as well
as teachers and administrators serving on our AFG Planning Team guiding our
efforts. We look forward to your continuing support in the next seven years as
we strive to achieve our objectives and to continue our excellent educational
program.
