The Intercontinental Hotel caters to families with tennis, swimming, a beach with volleyball, squash court and a fully equipped gymnasium.
Huwaylat Recreational Centre offers an olympic-sized swimming pool plus tennis courts and racquetball, squash and badminton facilities inside. Numerous other facilities are available within private compounds.
Whispering Sands Golf Club, only 10 minutes drive from
school, is a challenging 18 hole par 72 sand golf course. It also offers a
fully equipped driving range. Fees are very reasonable, and lessons

There are two main shopping areas in Jubail close to the main
housing areas. Most compounds are found near Downtown Jubail, where
there are a large number of shops and souqs. Private housing in the Royal
Commission area benefits from the Fanateer shopping mall, and
many supermarkets. Western, Middle Eastern as well as Indian,
Chinese and Filipino cuisine may be enjoyed in a wide variety of
eateries in the RC and Downtown areas.
